Answer  : Since 3 years old. Chief instructor is Danielle Lacroix.


Question : How the Mini-Champion area looks like?
Answer  : 4 free mini ski lifts, especially designed runs for children, a spacious and heated chalet. .

Question : What is needed?
Answer  :

• A bag with a little snack and a drink. Prepare two tags with your name, first name and phone number : one for your anorak and one for your snack's bag.
• Real skis with safety bindings, but no ski sticks.
• Your mittens and your bonnet.
  
  

Maxi-Champions

Question : Where is the meeting point?
Answer  : The reception at the Mini-Champions chalet.


Question : What is necessary to be a Maxi-Champion?
Answer  : I have control over my speed and I am able to go down a run making turns.

Grand Club

Question : Where is the meeting point?
Answer  : The reception at the E.S.I. office.

Question : What are the activities?
Answer  : Ski Fun on the "red" runs, slalom initiation, free ride.

Questions Générales

Question : Where can I buy my lesson's card?
Answer  : At E.S.I. office located at La Faucille shopping centre.

Question : What to do, if I cannot be at my lesson?
Answer  : You must notify E.S.I. as soon as possible. Private lessons must be canceled at least 48H in advance.

Question : How can I make a reservation for a ski lesson?
Answer  : You can either :

• Go to E.S.I. office located at La Faucille shopping centre.

Question : What can I do, if due to an accident I cannot use my lesson card?
Answer  : If you have an insurance, ask your company for refund. You can also suscribe an insurance "Carte Sports Loisirs" at our office when you buy your tickets.

Question : Do ski lessons take place in all weathers?
Answer  : Lessons take place even in snowy or rainy conditions. They are canceled only if ski practice become hazardous. In that case, the station close the runs. In case of doubt, you can phone the E.S.I. office +33 (0) 450 41 30 29 before going to the station.

Question : Can I buy one lesson card and use it for my childs?
Answer  : The 6 or 10 lessons cards are not personal, so you can freely use them for your childs.

Question : With a 6 or 10 lessons card , is it necessary to go to E.S.I. office before lessons?
Answer  :

• NO for Mini ou Maxi-Champions Clubs, just go to the Mini-Champions chalet.
• YES for the Grand Club : meeting point is at E.S.I. office.

Question : Can I pay my lessons with a credit card?
Answer  : NO, ESI accepts only cash or bank check (local french checks only).

Question : Is it necessary to give a snack to my child skiing with the Mini-Champions Club?
Answer  : Yes, for the Mini-Champions Club. Give him/her a little snack with a drink, in a bag marked with his/her name, first name and phone number (this tag must be outside the bag and easily visible). The snack is taken in the heated chalet and must be practical (avoid fruits to peel, yoghurt requiring a spoon, etc.).

Question : Is it necessary to give a snack to my child skiing with the Maxi-Champions Club?
Answer  : YES, put a little snack in the child's pocket. He/She will eat it during a telecabine trip or a halt on the side of the run with his/her instructor.

Question : Are students passing ski tests?
Answer  : YES. At each level, students are evaluated using the ESI official tests.

Question : Do I have to buy a ski pass for a 4 years old kid?
Answer  : For kids under five, station's ski lifts are free. You must request a free ski pass
at a ticket booth before the lessons.

Question : Do I have to buy a ski pass for a beginning kid?
Answer  : NO Mini-Champions Club ski lifts are free for students during their lessons.
